Before I got dial-up, the computer felt like a small, contained world. Then we got online, and suddenly it had an outside: niche forums, strange websites, Google Earth, movies I’d never heard of, and cool people I couldn’t meet but whose work I could still see. The internet made the world feel larger and smaller at once.

That sense of wonder is still what draws me to technology. I studied electronics at IIT Roorkee, but what really hooked me was the process of creating things: starting with an idea, trying to turn it into something real, hitting walls, and finding a way through.

Over the last few years, I’ve done that as a product manager across very different systems. At Meesho, I spent a lot of time thinking about messy, real-world problems in pricing and logistics — like how to make decisions when the data you need simply isn’t there, and how ML and GenAI can help fill those gaps. At SLB, I worked on a financial planning platform used by 250+ planners and division heads to run large-scale business planning.

Both taught me that building good products means caring about both layers: the visible experience and the invisible system behind it.

If systems are the foundation, AI is becoming both: a system worth understanding in its own right and the thing that changes how every other system is built.
I’m still in awe of how capable these tools already are, and right now I’m trying to stay close to that edge: building, testing, breaking things, and learning what this new layer makes possible.
